With so many classes available to choose from, how do you know which one best suits your play style? For today’s article, we’ll be focusing on the Conjurer. Here’s what you need to know about the Conjurer class on your Final Fantasy XIV account.

“Conjury calls upon the elements of earth, wind, and water and concentrates them to a potency at which spells can be weaved. Through practiced meditation on the essences of creation, conjurers draw forth and absorb aether from their immediate surroundings. A wand or cane made from unworked wood is then utilized to focus the aether until it manifests as the desired spell. Versed also in magicks that restore and strengthen, conjurers are regarded as accomplished healers.”

The Conjurer is a Disciples of Magic class that specializes in earth, wind and healing magic. They wield wands and canes, and are the dedicated healers of the team. The Conjurer’s Guild is located in Gridania. If you choose Conjurer as your first class, you will start off in the city of Gridania.

Conjurer Class on your FFXIV Account: Gameplay

Conjurers are trained to control metaphysical forces from the elements which comprise all of creation, allowing them to cast powerful support and regenerative spells. Conjurers are able to shift between offensive and defensive magic depending on the situation. Conjurers are considered Healers for the purpose of party roles. The Conjurer class is defined by wielding either one-handed wands or two-handed canes. At endgame, the available weapons are overwhelmingly two-handed canes, while wands are relatively scarce. In terms of late game armor and accessories, Conjurers and White Mages share “Healing” gear with Scholars.

The Conjurer is perhaps the most valuable ally in a party, as their skills are designed to keep the party alive for as long as possible. They do come equipped with some damage spells, but primarily their skills will buff the party and heal them throughout the game. Conjurers are essential during fights. With their Cleric Stance ability, they can ease back on the healing and dish out damage as well. Though Conjurers rely on their Mind attribute, Cleric Stance switches their Mind with their Intelligence, allowing them to turn the tides of the battle.

Conjurer Class on your Final Fantasy 14 Account: Combat Role

The Conjurer class are able to produce spells by calling on the elements—earth, wind, and water. They are able to use spells that heal and strengthen their team mates. During battle they will be in the back lines using their skills to help keep their party members alive. Being part of the Magic causes them to have lower health than the other classes, so they must take care to avoid damage. Conjurer’s Arms or Weapons include unique Wands, Crooks, Radicals, and Canes. A Conjurer’s most important stat is mind, which increases their healing magic potency. Once a Conjurer reaches level 30, he or she can become a White Mage. In addition, having a level 15 Arcanist is also required to unlock the White Mage Job. The Conjurer is high in demand for dungeon runs below level 30 (when Scholar becomes available). For the first 15 levels, before players really start grouping with other players, the Conjurer can hold its own.
