Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is celebrating its first year anniversary with a video contest. FFXIV account holders and creative players can join the contest to win cool in-game FFXIV items for their Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters. One year of hunting FFXIV Gil and items in Eorzea
It’s been one year since Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has launched and many of its players have explored and had adventures in the lands of Eorzea. To celebrate its first year, the game will be holding a video contest from July 29 to August 12. During this time, players can submit videos for a chance to win in-game items and a bit of fame for their characters.
Entering the contest for FFXIV Gil and items
To join the contest, Final Fantasy XIV account holders need to make a video that shows how they’re celebrating the anniversary in-game. The video must be 30 to 120 seconds long and can feature more than one character. Once created, contestants need to upload the video to YouTube. They will then need to post the link on the official entry thread. FFXIV Gil and items for the winners
Up for grabs are 300 Skyrocket fireworks and Mandragora Chokers. One hundred lucky entries will be selected to receive these prizes. Note that characters featured in the winning video can receive additional prizes even if they are not the one who filed the entry. They will need to be in the same world as the contestant however. Winners will be announced around August 29, 2014.
