The Mythril Eye has spotted something interesting in Eorzea. Something that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn players will find beneficial for their FFXIV Gil hunters. Havak Alvak has reported sightings of golems made of precious metals that can change the mining industry. It is now up to Final Fantasy XIV account holders to look into these mystical creatures and even earn riches from them.

Brick Mountains

Colossal challenge for large FFXIV Gil rewards

Dragon Quest X Breaking Brick Mountains is a cross-over event that will be held as part of the game’s first year anniversary. Running from September 14 until September 23, FFXIV account holders can hunt the massive brick golems common in the Dragon Quest series. The challenge comes with great rewards for players who dare to bring down the behemoths.

Finding the golems for FFXIV Gil

To join the event, players need to talk to NPC Havak Alvak of the Mythril Eye. This NPC can be found in Ul’dah – Steps of Nald. They will then need to talk to him and accept the quest There’s Golems Those Hills! The quest will send Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters to face the golems in several FATEs. The latter can be found in the following locations:

  • Central Thanalan – Sil’dih Excavation Site (x17, y23)
  • Lower La Noscea – Blind Iron Mines (x27, y 17)
  • Upper La Noscea – Camp Bronze Lake (x34, y24)
  • Central Shroud – Bentbranch Meadows (x23, y23)
  • North Shroud – Finders’ Bluff (x15, y31)

FFXIV Gil and item rewards

Aside from the Gil and items that players will get from the golems, special rewards are also up for grabs. A King Slime Crown and a Thug’s Mug can be obtained by players. These two FFXIV items can be worn by characters as they are level 10 Head Armor. All classes can use them, provided they are at least level 10. Finally, players can also get a Wind-up Brickman minion when they complete the event.
