Patch 2.38

New Wards for FFXIV Gil hunters

The Adventurer Residential districts received new wards to house the brave adventurers of Eorzea. A seventh and eight ward has been added increasing the total number of plots players can purchase for their characters. Prices range depending on the server as well as the size of the plots. Plots can sell for a low 2,000,000 FFXIV Gil for a small fifth-class plot on Asura, and go up to 87,500,000 Gil for a large first-class plot on Bahamut.

Get a plot for your FFXIV Gil hunter

With the additional wards, players can now purchase plots as individual players. Characters that either lead or are members of a free company can now buy a piece of land for themselves. Only characters with a class at level 50 can obtain land however. They must also be a second lieutenant or higher in any of the Grand Companies.

Plots can be purchased by simply interactive with the placards that can be found in the residential districts. Note that while players can now buy plots as individuals, the option to buy a plot for their free company is still there.

Travelling to your FFXIV Gil hunter’s home

Getting to your newly bought residence is now easier in Patch 2.38. When travelling to the residential district, players can now see the name of the character for houses that are owned by an individual. In the same vein, free company housing will show up with an abbreviated name of the company. Mounts can now also be ridden within the residential districts.
