Our earlier guide discussed the first boss of the Pharos Sirius dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Today’s guide continues where we left of and cover how FFXIV account holders can deal with the remaining bosses. Get a pen and paper ready as we’ll tell you how Final Fantasy XIV account holders can take out Zu, Tyrant and Siren.
Zu and Tyrant for FFXIV Gil
The second boss of the Pharos Sirius dungeon is Zu. Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters will fight this massive bird in a circular room filled with eggs. FFXIV Gil hunters will need to be careful around these as killing an egg will enrage Zu. Each egg destroyed will increase the damage the boss deals to the point that after three eggs, it can easily kill members of your party. As such, it is better to let Zu hatch the eggs and kill the summoned mobs instead.
Tyrant is the next boss and is considerably easier than the first two. This boss has very low HP and will summon a few pirate zombie adds to the fight. Focus him down to get FFXIV items and Gil before heading to the final boss.
Stuns, Songs and FFXIV Gil
Siren is the final boss of the Pharos Sirius dungeon. Healers will need to stay focused during this fight as Siren will periodically place the Siren’s Song debuff on party members. Characters not at full health when this debuff expires will be charmed and will attack allies for a couple of seconds.
Another thing to watch out for during the first are the Zombie Storm Sergeants the boss summons. These adds will track a target and upon reaching them will repeatedly stun the target until it dies.
Taking on Siren for FFXIV Gil
Siren herself has several abilities the group needs to watch out for. She will occasionally fly up and perform one of two skills. The first is a straight line attack where she flies from one side of the room to the other, damaging those in her patch. The second is a torus shaped AoE that inflicts the Siren’s Song debuff to players not in the center.
When this boss reaches 50% she will start to cast Lunatic Voice. This skill must be interrupted as it will reduce healing making Siren’s Song impossible to remove. The attack can be stopped with stun or silence, while the debuff can be removed with Esuna or Leech.
