Patch 2.5 Before the Fall added several dungeons to Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. One of these is the hard mode for The Wanderer’s Palace. Like usual, we are here to provide a quick and dirty guide on how to get cheap FFXIV Gil and items from this dungeon. In this first part we will cover how to get inside the dungeon and its first boss.
How to get your FFXIV Gil hunter in
If you have friends who want to buy FFXIV Gil, why not sell to them? But first, get your Final Fantasy XIV Gil from The Wanderer’s Palace (Hard). This dungeon is available to players who take the quest Not Easy Being Green from Bloezoeng in Mor Dhona (x22, y8). Note however that this quest is only available to level 50 Disciples of War or Magic. Hopefuls will also need to finish the original mode of the dungeon as well as the main scenario quest The Ultimate Weapon. Lastly, the dungeon requires a lite party of four members with each with average item level of no less than 90.
Spears, FFXIV Gil and the boss
Frumious Koheel Ja is the first boss of The Wanderer’s Palace (Hard) dungeon. The boss has the standard cleave attacks that the tank will need to point away from the party. What FFXIV Gil hunters need to watch out for however are the spears this boss throws out. If not destroyed immediately, they will deal room wide damage. Additionally, the boss will dash towards these spears, knock back and deal damage to everyone in its way. Finally, at low health, Frumious Koheel Ja will start throwing out spears that deal AoE damage. Those hit will be pacified and silenced for several seconds.
Standards your FFXIV Gil hunter need to watch out
After the first boss, players will encounter Sacred Standards surrounded by trash mobs. While the mobs will not be anything out of the ordinary, the standards radiate a special buff. Mobs within its AoE will receive less damage while getting an increase to the damage they deal. Tanks should make sure to lure the mobs away from the standards to deal with them faster.
