When I created my first character in FFXIV, I chose female Miqo’te for the sexy look and those lovely cat ears and tail. I really thought that my character was perfect and I won’t change anything about her. But as I played through the game and had a chance to see all available races, I began to think that my Miqo’te was an absolute mistake. The mistake was my character wasn’t a Lalafell!
Final Fantasy 14 Account: Change
Good thing there was a free item mailed by FFXIV in-game that gave me a chance to change into LALAFELL!!! Yes! Lalafell made me realize they’re cuter and more badass than a Miqo’te. The more I saw them Lalafells, the more I wanted to become one which I did. One of the best decisions in my life! Here’s a brief background of Lalafell from Final Fantasy Wikia:
The Lalafell (ララフェル, Raraferu?) are a race from the seas south of Eorzea in Final Fantasy XIV. They somewhat resemble the Tarutaru from Final Fantasy XI, but their bodies are taller, making them slightly closer in proportion to human toddlers, and do not necessarily need to have the Tarutaru’s distinctive dark-colored noses. The race consists of the Plainsfolk, which live in thatched-roof homes and have great hearing, and the Dunesfolk who live in the desert and herd animals.
I fell in love more with my character once she became a Lalafell and the roleplaying became more satisfying. Badass Lalafell taking on big monsters, healing party members with her cuteness and dodging attacks with her charming evasive moves. My quirkiness also was appreciate more by people because I was a lovely Lalafell. Everyone became more friendly to me thus made me even more outgoing to the community! Being a Lalafell seemed so right to me because they’re the cutest being ever in Final Fantasy XIV. Lalafell is love.
