Of the many different classes available in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, the Gladiator is one of the most important in a party. Serving the role of the tank, they are often in the front-lines ensuring the safety of the party. It may cost a bit of FFXIV Gil and FFXIV items to run a Gladiator on your FFXIV account, but it’s definitely worth it.

Considerations when making Gladiator FFXIV Gil hunter

The three main stats of Gladiators are Dexterity, Strength and Vitality. This reflects their hardiness and ability to take the brunt of damage from enemies when fulfilling their role as a tank. When making a Gladiator, make sure you’ll be able to pump up these attributes. Gladiators can wield any one-handed blade along with a shield. When spending your FFXIV Gil, prioritize a good shield over weapons.

Role in a FFXIV Gil run party

By themselves Gladiators in FFXIV:ARR will take a long while to take down tough monsters. They excel however as tanks in a party. The skills of this class make them good at drawing enmity as well as defending against attacks to allow others to deal damage in safety. The downside however is a large amount of FFXIV Gil spent on gear repairs.
