Valentines is just a day away and Final Fantasy: A Realm Reborn is holding a special giveaway for lovers. If you have a special someone, NPC, or something, then you can join in and get a special item on your FFXIV account. Unlike other contests all participants will get a prize in the Be My Valentione Contest!
Celebrating Valentines with FFXIV Account holders
Final Fantasy XIV account holders can spread love to others thanks to the on-going Valentiones Day event. Aside from the quests and useable items this event gives however, Final Fantasy 14 account holders are encouraged to spread the love in other ways. The Be My Valentione Contest will reward players with an in-game item for showing their love through gifts, cards and crafts.
How to enter your FFXIV Account
The Be My Valentione Contest runs from February 12 until March 2. During this time, players can create and original Valentione-themed item to give to their loved ones. The item can be any piece of artwork, food, or even a self-made Valentione’s card. FFXIV account holders simply need to take a picture of their creation and upload it to an image hosting site. Finally, post it on the contest entry thread to complete the submission. Note that the submitted image must contain the name of the entrant’s character and the world it is in. Don’t forget to include the title of the creation!
Only entries that fit the theme of the contest will be counted. Additionally, the item must be created by the user who is joining the contest. Multiple entries are not allowed, and in the event of multiple submissions, only the first will be considered. Lastly, the entrant must have an active game account for the region they are joining the contest in.
Reward for FFXIV Account holders
As mentioned before, unlike the usual contests, the Be My Valentione Contest will reward all valid entries. After all, creating something for your loved one deserves a prize. All valid entries will get a Bluebird Earring. Note however that the item is only transferable to characters on the contestant’s FFXIV account. Good luck and Happy Valentione!
