Before the Fall Patch 2.51 for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has been released. In it, FFXIV account holders can take on new quests for items and gil. The patch added quests to the Saga of the Zodiac Weapons questline, Delivery Moogle questline and the new Manderville Gold Saucer. We’ll cover the basics of each quest in today’s guide.

Patch 2.51

Zodiac weapons on your FFXIV Account

Final Fantasy XIV account holders can continue to power up their Zodiac weapon by continuing the Saga of the Zodiac Weapons. The next quest in the series added by the patch is Rise and Shine. Veteran Final Fantasy 14 account holders must first complete the His Dark Materia quest before then can embark on this one. Upon completion, they can then move on to The Vital Title quest. Both quests are given by Jalzahn in North Shroud (x29, y19) and are for Disciples of Magic or War at level 50.

To get your hands on a Zodiac weapon zeta with item level 135, you must first affix mahatma on your Zodiac weapon. Afterwards, its soul resonance level can be increased by having it equipped while doing certain activities. The amount increased will vary based on the activity. Sharing information with friends is a good way to increase its level.

Help a Moogle on your FFXIV Account

Fans of the Delivery Moogle quest line will enjoy two new quests added by the patch. Players can help the cute creature with its duties in A Qiqirn Always Pays His Debts. Users can also assist the carrier in The Hazy Professor. Both quests require the carrier to be at level 20 and can be taken from the Deputy Post Moogle at Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (x10, y11). Characters need to have a Disciple of Magic or War class at level 50 to take the quests.

Entering the gold saucer on your FFXIV Account

FFXIV account holders who are going to the Manderville Gold Saucer will also be able to access its questline. This series of quests begins with It Could Happen to You given out by a Well-Heeled Youth at Ul’dah – Steps of Nald (x9, y9). Characters need to be at least level 15 and must have completed the appropriate envoy quest for their race. For reference these are: The Gridanian Envoy, The Ul’dahn Envoy, and The Lominsan Envoy.
