Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s dungeons come in various difficulties. Unlike most MMORPGs however, a Hard mode dungeon plays differently than its normal mode counterpart. FFXIV account holders will encounter new bosses and battle mechanics when they return to a dungeon in Hard mode. Brayflox’s Longstop is one such dungeon.
Saving more goblins for FFXIV Gil
The first time Final Fantasy XIV account holders visit Brayflox’s Longstop, they will encounter goblins that need help. In the Hard mode version of the dungeon, FFXIV Gil hunters pretty much have the same goals. Throughout the dungeon, they will need to help goblin villagers as well as Brayflox himself. However, players will encounter different monsters as well bosses. The only familiar thin players will encounter are the tactics employed by some of these boss monsters.
Gaining entry for your FFXIV Gil hunter
Baryflox’s Longstop (Hard) was designed for level 50 characters. Released in Patch 2.2, the dungeon is located in Eastern La Noscea. Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters will need to talk to Bloezoeng in Mor Dhona (x22, y8) to get the Curds and Slay quest in order to unlock the dungeon. Additionally, players must have completed the main storyline quest The Ultimate Weapon. Lastly, characters need to have an average item level of 55 and up to enter the dungeon.
Taking out the Illuminati for FFXIV Gil
The first boss of the dungeon is the Illuminati Commander. This boss unleashes multiple line AoE attacks frequently. Players will also need to dodge bombs this boss places through out the room. As the AoE patterns get progressively harder, the commander will also summon sniper adds. These will then fixate on a random party member. Be sure to focus down the adds once they pop up. When the boss eventually falls, you can then collect FFXIV items and Gil.
