The full Patch Notes for the Before the Fall update of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has finally been released. Thanks to this we can continue from our previous guide and bring Final Fantasy XIV account holders the most relevant information. Get ready to earn FFXIV Gil and FFXIV items from new Trials, PvP content and a new raid for the Crystal Tower Arc.

FFXIV Gil from new Trials

If you enjoy getting Final Fantasy XIV Gil after a challenging boss fight, then these new Trials in the 2.5 patch is for you. FFXIV account holders can take on Urth’s Fount, Battle in the Big Keep and ??? in the Before the Fall update. All the new Trials require an eight person team with characters having a Disciple of War or Magic class at level 50. Each of the Trials must be completed within 60 minutes in order to get their respective rewards.

Get FFXIV Gil from The World of Darkness

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn players following the Crystal Tower arc will be pleased to know that the next raid has been added. In the Before the Fall update, players can take on The World of Darkness. This new raid is designs for 24 players split into three parties of eight characters. Raiders need to have an average item level of 90 or above to enter. Additionally, they must have completed the Syrcus Tower quest in order to accept the quest The World of Darkness which unlocks the raid.

Hunt FFXIV Gil from the Borderland Ruins

Fans of the Fronline PvP content also get a new encounter in Patch 2.5. The Borderland Ruins (Slaughter) encounter will be playable once the patch launches. Note that only Disciples of War or Magic at level 50 can participate in the encounter. Items will also be synced to item level 80.
