The more the merrier for FFXIV Gil hunters

Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters would know that cards for Triple Triad come in different types. In particular, they can be Primal, Beastman and the like. The Ascension rule takes this card type into consideration. When active, this rule will cause all same type cards to increase in value, specifically, for each same type card on the field, the values on the card will increase by one.

For example, on the grid is a red Primal card with 1 on all sides. If blue plays a Primal card with 2 on all sides, then the both cards will get +2 to their values. At the end of the turn, the red card will have 3 on all sides, while the blue card will have 4 on all sides.

FFXIV Gil hunter’s can’t have too many clones

Thankfully you don’t need to buy FFXIV Gil just to get cards. Otherwise it would be a waste if you encounter the Descension rule. This rule works in the same manner as the rule above. Unlike Ascension however, this rule will decrease the values of the cards by one for each card of the same type. In the example above, both the red and blue card will be reduced to having one on all sides at the end of the turn.

Changing things up for FFXIV Gil hunters

Fallen Ace is another of the advanced rules for Triple Triad. What this rule does is simply make the all-powerful “A” not so all-powerful. With this rule, an A value can be beaten by a lowly “1”. Another quirky rule is Swap. When active, this will randomly exchange one card from your deck with a card from your opponent’s deck. Note that the exchange is not permanent and the cards will be returned to their respective owners at the end of the match. Finally the Roulette rule will randomize which advanced rules will be used in the match.
