A second team has been sent to investigate Haukke Manor in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and its dark inhabitants. As expected, FFXIV account holders are there to help check what dire bagrains the lady of House Dartancours has made with the voidsent. Will Final Fantasy XIV account holders triumph over this Hard mode dungeon?
Gaining entry for your FFXIV Gil hunter
Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters can only enter the Haukke Manor (Hard) dungeon if they have started the Maniac Manor quest. This quest can be obtained from Laurine in Mor Dhona (x22, y8). FFXIV Gil hunters however need to first clear the main storyline before they can take this quest. They will also need to have an average item level of 48 or higher. The dungeon requires a light party of four players, and must be completed within 90 minutes.
Furniture, Clavigers and FFXIV Gil
Those who have gone through the normal Haukke Manor dungeon will notice that the layout of the Hard mode is different. There are also more furniture in the manor. The mobs in the manor will be identical and the party will eventually encounter a Manor Claviger and two Manor Acrobats in a room. During this fight, make sure to take out the Claviger quickly as it will summon demon adds to the fight. Take out all mobs to get a key. The latter will unlock the nearby door where a similar fight awaits.
Taking on the Manor Jester for FFXIV Gil
The first boss of the dungeon is the Manor Jester. Aside from the constant appearance of adds the fight is relatively straight forward. Players hunting powerful FFXIV items need to alternate between the boss and adds to prevent being overwhelmed. Also note that if enough corpses get caught in the purple AoE attack by the boss, a Manor Butler will be spawned. This add must be killed quickly due to its powerful AoE attack.
