Seasonal Events are special occasions that occur at a particular time of the year. During these festivals, FFXIV account holders can complete seasonal quests and obtain unique cosmetic items. Additionally, cities around Eorzea are decorated according to the themes of the events. Examples of these seasonal events are the Moonfire Faire, the first event in A Realm Reborn which takes place around September, and All Saints’ Wake, the Halloween themed event, which place in October.

The Maiden’s Rhapsody on your FFXIV Account

Not everyone who is playing Final Fantasy XIV was originally playing Final Fantasy XI, so for players who never explored Vana’diel, the new Maiden’s Rhapsody event is nothing more than a chance to get some new cosmetic items for Final Fantasy 14 account holders. However, for players who have played Final Fantasy XI, it’s a crossover and a closure to a game that directly led to Final Fantasy XIV in the wake of the former game’s final story update.

Event Details for FFXIV Account Holders

The Maiden’s Rhapsody is a collaboration event with Final Fantasy XI. It celebrates the final chapter of Rhapsodies of Vana’diel, the planned finale for the Final Fantasy XI saga that brings characters from all the stories together in a struggle against a mysterious force that desires for the world to be blanketed in Emptiness. The event begins on November 11th and ends on December 31st.

How to Begin the Quest for FFXIV Account Holders

The final chapter of Rhapsodies of Vana’diel will soon release and bring the game’s story to an end. To celebrate this momentous occasion, a special collaboration event for Final Fantasy XIV account holders will commence! Participate and discover what strange twist of fate brought a hero of Vana’diel to Eorzea! This event is prompted with Remumu, a reporter for the Harbor Herald, who is hot on the heels of her latest story, but needs the help of a brave adventurer to ensure her safety while investigating. Head to Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decks.

Season’s Rewards for FFXIV Account Holders

This season’s rewards boast of a traditional Japanese design reminiscent of the glorious samurai period. You’ll get the following items on your FFXIV account:
