In a previous guide we covered the first boss of the Copperbell Mines (Hard) dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. We will now continue with the rest of the bosses, FFXIV account holder will face in this dungeon. Be prepared as the remaining bosses require a lot of coordination between Final Fantasy XIV account holders to take down.
Taking out Gogmagolem for FFXIV Gil
Gogmagolem is the second boss for the Copperbell Mines (Hard) dungeon. FFXIV gil hunters will immediately notice that their attacks do hardly any damage to this boss. This is because the boss will only take significant damage from Waymaker Bombs. To get these FFXIV Items, players need to use the Improved Blasting Device in the room. Note that Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters will need to pick up and carry these bombs to use them. While carrying a bomb, a character will not be able to use any ability. Bombs will automatically detonate after some time and will deal damage to players if they are in range.
Once the golem has been destroyed, the small spriggan named Biggy controlling the golem will appear. Aside from the large radius AoE attack he performs, this boss will be easier to dispatch than the golem.
FFXIV Gil from defeating Ouranos
The final boss of the dungeon is Ouranos. This boss behaves like most other bosses resulting in a simple tank and spank. The only threat from the boss is a point-blank AoE attack that knocks back characters caught in it.
What makes this fight challenging however is Ouranos’ pet worm. During the fight, the worm will make its presence known. Players will then have to get a crystal from the walls of the room and toss it on the sand in the center of the room. If the worm is not “fed” this way, it will pull all the characters to the center of the room and instantly kill them.
FXIV Gil and item rewards
Clearing Copperbell Mines (Hard) rewards players with 15 Allagan Tomestones of Soldiery and 10 Allagan Tomestones of Poetics. Note that each boss drops Allagan Tomestones of Mythology with Ouranos also dropping extra Soldiery Tomestones.
