It’s been a month since the release of the Heavensward expansion for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. New and seasoned FFXIV account holders have gone through the content, adapting and transitioning. This change is what the newest competition aims to capture in the Transition Art Contest. Cool prizes await the winners and all those who qualify in Heavensward Transition Art Contest.
Celebrating FFXIV Account holder transitions
With the release of the Heavensward expansion, Final Fantasy XIV account holders were given a chance to explore a whole new area. The expansion for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn also included new classes, quests, items, trials, dungeons and even a whole new flying mount system. This of course meant a lot of adjustment and transitions. The new Transition Art Contest aims to capture this transition to canvas, digital or otherwise. Players can submit works of art showing how their Warrior of Light faced the new challenges Ishgard presented and how they were changed by the expansion.
How you can enter your FFXIV Account
To join the event, Final Fantasy 14 account holders will need to create a piece of art. It should show how their character transitions into Ishgard as well as the celebration of the release of Heavensward. There is no limit to the type of art created; however, players only need to send a digital image of the work. Note that the email should be in jpg, png, or bmp format not exceeding 32mb.
Entries should be email to [email protected]. The email should have “FFXIV Heavensward Art Contest” as the title. The body of the email should contain the character name, world name, artwork title, a description of the artwork and desired in-game item. Note that only the first submission, per person, is considered a valid entry. Entries containing offensive subject matter will be disqualified.
Rewards for FFXIV Account holders
Five lucky grand prize winners will get a copy of the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn The Art of Eorzea -Another Dawn- art book. The books are signed by Director & Producer Naoki Yoshida and Art Director Kazuya Takahashi. All qualifying entries also get to choose one of four in-game items. Players can choose from a Bluebird Earring, Mandragora Choker, Ahriman Choker, or Scarf of Wondrous Wit.
