With the first year anniversary of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn drawing near, fans are getting hungry for updates. Thankfully, the anniversary website has been launched to sate this need for information. The new anniversary website features updates for Final Fantasy XIV account holders. It holds information about the many events to come as well as special content for the anniversary.
One year of FFXIV Gil hunting
On August 27, 2014, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn turns one. To celebrate the first year anniversary of the game, FFXIV account holders will be treated to multiple events both in-game and outside of it. In fact, a whole two months of celebrations await players of this popular MMORPG. To help keep track of all the events and special programs, Square Enix has recently launched the Final Fantasy XIV Anniversary Website. Here, players can look at the schedule of celebrations as well as the various content prepared for the celebration.
Live streaming while collecting FFXIV Gil
One of the featured events for the anniversary celebration is the 14-Hour Anniversary Broadcast. Fans will be able to watch a live stream of Square Enix Headquarters. The stream will run from Friday, August 22 at 8:00 PM until 10:00 AM of Saturday, August 23. The stream will feature the 17th Letter from the Producer LIVE, interviews with special guests and much more. The stream will be viewable on YouTube LIVE, Niconico Live and Final Fantasy 14’s Twitch tv channel.
Special features for the FFXIV Gil collector
Aside from the event updates, collectors of FFXIV items and Final Fantasy XIV Gil will also get special content from the website. As the day of the anniversary approaches, players are treated to stunning illustrations from the art team. There will also be five short stories that players can read to see the events of the Calamity from key figures in the story. More content will be released as the days go by so stay tuned!
