The Binding Coil of Bahamut is split into five different Turns. Two of our earlier guides covered the first Turn of this raid. Today we will show FFXIV Gil hunters how to take on the second turn of this raid. Players will need to have gear at item level 73 or greater to enter the dungeon. All other requirements are the same as the previous turn.

6 bosses, 12 minutes and FFXIV Gil hunters

Unlike most raids, the Binding Coil of Bahamut Turn 2 only has mini-bosses and no other enemies. Specifically 6 ADS mini-boss and a “main” mini-boss. This does not mean however that this raid is an easy way to earn cheap FFXIV Gil. In fact, the difficulty of this raid is considerably higher than the first turn.

As the raid starts, players will get a notice similar to the first turn’s ADS click counter. In this case however, players will have 12 clicks before the defense system of this raid explodes. In other words, 12 minutes to destroy the main mini-boss. This is not as simple as it sounds however.

The six mini-bosses located in the rooms of the raid affect the main mini-boss. The main boss will have access to the skills each mini-boss still alive has. Killing a mini-boss will cause the main one to lose skills, however, it will also receive a set buff from the killed mini-boss. The challenge of the raid is choosing which mini-bosses to kill and still have time to take the main one on.

More ADS for more FFXIV Gil

Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters will come face to face with the Allagan Defense System again in Turn 2. Six of them actually. Like in Turn 1, they will have access to the High Voltage and Repelling Cannons skills. As such, make sure you have ways to interrupt the first skill, while melee members avoid the second. The mini-bosses will also place a Vulnerability Up debuff on the tanks so it is prudent to swap out your tanks regularly.

Which mini-bosses FFXIV Gil hunters should take out

Since defeating a mini-boss affects the main boss of this raid, it is important to pick which ones to take out. For now, your team should prioritize taking out the mini-bosses in the first, third and sixth sectors of the raid. In particular, you will be taking out the Monitoring Node, Defense Node and Disposal Node.
