One of the new features added by the Heavensward expansion for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is the Company Workshop. This new addition for Free Companies will help player get more Final Fantasy XIV Gil. In today’s article we will look at how your FC can get the workshop and how the members can use it.
Getting a workshop with FFXIV Gil
The new expansion added Free Company Crafting to the game. Through it, players can create Aetherial Wheels, items and materials for housing and Airships. To create these however, your FC first needs to have a Company Workshop. This room can be bought with cheap FFXIV Gil at the entrance to the private chambers of the company’s house. As such, you may need to buy FFXIV Gil for your Free Company.

Once your Free Company has a Company Workshop, you can then start making things by queuing Company projects. Each project has an item that will be the output, as well as a lit of materials required. Members of the Free Company can then chip in the materials to complete the queued project. Note that what materials a project needs can be verified from the crafting window. This can be brought up by using a fabrication station and checking the crafting log.
New projects for company crafting can be created by using the Schematic Board. Here, players can draft new projects and set what items to make. Players can also check here beforehand what materials the plan will need. Upon finishing the plan creation, it will be added to the company crafting log. Note that multiple plans can be queued up so Free Company members can concentrate on simply completing them.
Airships for FFXIV Gil hunters
The Company Workshop also allows players to craft an Airship for their Free Company for use with the new Exploratory Voyages system. Note that creating an Airship is a complicated task. Unlike most items, the Airship is not created in one go. Instead, players will need to build the individual parts of the Airship. Once the parts have been built, the actual Airship can be crafted.
