Getting FFXIV Gil from wave 4

In the fourth wave of the raid Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters will encounter four Clockwork Bugs and two Spinner Rooks. Players will need to focus on taking out the two rooks as they have a skill called Pox. The latter casts a debuff that will lower the maximum health of the tank they are fighting. This debuff stacks which can make your tanks die rather quickly. Pox can be avoided by standing to the side or behind the rook. This because the skill’s AoE is a cone. Additionally, this mob has a spell that deals damage to the party while healing itself.

Destroying the rooks should be your team’s top priority. However, getting rid of the Clockwork Bugs will make the next wave much easier.

FFXIV Gil hunters versus wave 5

There are only three mobs to handle in wave 5. Players are highly unlikely to finish them all off in time however, no matter how much you buy FFXIV Gil. The three mobs in this wave are: Clockwork Dreadnaught, Clockwork Knight and Clockwork Soldier. If there are leftover Clockwork Bugs from the previous wave, make sure to feed them to the Dreadnaught to avoid it getting healed in the middle of the fight. One tank should be kiting the knight and soldier, while another handles the Dreadnaught. Make sure to defeat the Dreadnaught before your sixty seconds are up.

Last wave FFXIV Gil hunters need to finish

The last wave of the raid will spawn another pair of Clockwork Knight and Solider, a Spinner Rook and a Clockwork Dreadnaught with two Clockwork Bugs tagging along. These bugs should be fed to the Dreadnaught while it is being tanked. Meanwhile, the tank kiting the knight and soldier from the earlier wave should kite the rook. The rest of the party should then take down the untanked knight and soldier. Afterwards they can then take on the rook and tanked knight and soldier. The Dreadnaught can be finished off last.

Be aware that at the seven minute mark, the elevator in the raid will start to move. It will also cause the party to take damage every few seconds. This will not stop until the raid is completed or the party is wiped.

The FFXIV Class / Job 3.0 System

One thing I love FFXIV is that you can get all classes with one character. It is hard enough to think of a name for every character when you create if you want another character of another job, what more leveling and gearing them right? FFXIV let’s you get the chance...

Crystal Tower and Hildibrand Overview

Crystal Tower was the very first raid-like instance in Final Fantasy XIV. Coil of Bahamut was not really raid-like for me way back because it was just like a dungeon but double the number of people inside. Honestly, it was just like the Primal fights but of course,...
