Once a sacred place for the Lalafell, Halatali was remade by the Pugilist’s Guild into a coliseum. However, since the Calamity, it has fallen into ruin and is now inhabited by monsters. The Eternal Flame however wants FFXIV account holders to clear the ancient coliseum in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Halatali

Entering with your FFXIV Gil hunter

Located in Eastern Thanalan, the Halatali dungeon is made for characters on a Final Fantasy XIV account at level 20 to 23. Characters who wish to obtain FFXIV items from this dungeon need to complete the Hallo Halatali quest. The dugeon requires a light party of 4 players and has a time restriction of 90 minutes.

Killing bosses for FFXIV Gil

The main objective of the dungeon is to dispatch of its monstrous inhabitants. Obtaining Final Fantasy XIV Gil from them is just a bonus. The first area to clear is the Hall of the Cesti where they will encounter Firemane. This stationary fiery being is pretty easy to handle. What makes the first tricky are the Fire Wisps it summons. The Wisps will enter the room and make their way to the bonfire in the center. Upon reaching it, they will detonate and deal considerable damage to those caught in the blast. Make sure to take them down quickly along with Firemane.

The next boss players will encounter in the Halatali dungeons is Thunderclap Guivre. Like most bosses you will now encounter this drake has a trick up its sleeve. During the fight, Guivre will go to the center of the room and start summoning elementals. During this time it will be invulnerable and will electrify the shallow pool of water it wallows in. Dispose of the adds quickly to remove his invulnerability and electric pool.

Earning FFXIV Gil from Tangata

The last boss for Halatali is Tangata. This minotaur like creature has skills similar to the previous bosses. As his life goes down, Tangata will stop attacking and summon wisps that explode upon contact with him. He will also stand while invulnerable in the center of a lava pool. Take care of the wisps and other add to remove his temporary immortality to finish him and clear the dungeon.

Crystal Tower and Hildibrand Overview

Crystal Tower was the very first raid-like instance in Final Fantasy XIV. Coil of Bahamut was not really raid-like for me way back because it was just like a dungeon but double the number of people inside. Honestly, it was just like the Primal fights but of course,...
