Winter has come and gone and Spring is bathing Eorzea with new life. To celebrate many FFXIV Gil hunters can participate in the Hatching-tide event. Join Jihli Aliapoh in celebrating the wondrous festival of life. Items and cheap FFXIV Gil await all those who participate.
Getting your FFXIV Gil hunter to join the event
From April 2 to April 15, Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters can participate in the Hatching-tide event. Through this event, players can get exclusive egg-themed items. These cannot be obtained otherwise, even if you buy FFXIV Gil to buy them. To start the event, players will need to go to Old Gridania (x10, y9) and talk to Jihli Aliapoh. She will offer the Great Eggspectations quest which is the start of this event’s quest line.
Completing your FFXIV Gil hunter’s quest
The first part of the event is simple enough. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn players will need to travel to the three main cities of the game. They will however need to do this while transformed as a Spriggan. Additionally, at each main city, the event quest will have them perform specific tasks. Completing the tour of the three cities will start the second part of the event.
In part two of the Hatching-tide event, players will need to participate in a FATE. Specifically, Eorzeans will need to join the Gloria in Eggcelsis FATE. The latter spawns in five areas: Summerford Farms (Middle La Noscea), the Salt Strand (Lower La Noscea), Hyrstmill (North Shroud), Ul’dah Dispatch Yard (Central Thanalan), and Camp Drybone (Eastern Thanalan). Once at the FATE spawn, they will need to transform into a Spriggan. Next, to defeat the giant egg, they will need to use the eggchant ability.
Eggsciting prizes for FFXIV Gil hunters
Completing the quest will reward players with Lucky Eggs. Players however can still get various prices from the event. There are four different earring that can be obtained from the quest allow. These are Egg Earrings, Brilliant Egg Earrings, Vibrant Egg Earrings and Midnight Egg Earrings. An Egg Floor Lamp can also be received for those who want furniture for their household.
