In an earlier guide we covered how to get to and kill the first boss of the Haukke Manor (Hard) dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. In this guide, FFXIV account holders can learn how to handle the remaining two bosses. We’ll also discuss the FFXIV items and FFXIV Gil available from this dungeon.

Haukke Manor

FFXIV Gil from Ash

The second boss of the dungeon is Ash. Final Fantasy XIV account holders need to pay attention to the blue telegraphs that appear during the fight. This is to avoid the damaging attacks the boss does. Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters should also be wary of the spinning weapons the boss randomly hurls. Aside from dealing damage, they also place a movement impairing debuff. Considering the area attacks constantly used by the boss, this can mean a quick death.

Taking on Halicarnassus for FFXIV Gil

The final boss of the dungeon is Halicarnassus. While the boss fight seems a simple tank and spank peppered with multiple adds, it’s what the boss does to the adds that make this fight challenging. During the fight, Halicarnassus will absorb the add she has summoned. When she is finished, she will then cast Blood Rain. This skill will then deal damage to the whole party. The amount of damage it inflicts will be proportional to the amount of health the add had when it was absorbed. As such, players will need to kill the adds to minimize the damage Blood Rain dishes out.

Note that if not killed quickly after she dips below 15% health, Halicarnassus will absorb a party member. The ensuing Blood Rain will wipe the group regardless of the health of the character that was absorbed.

Item and FFXIV Gil rewards

Completing the Haukke Manor (Hard) dungeon will reward players with 15 Allagan Tomestones of Soldiery and 10 Allagan Tomestones of Poetics. Items with item level 60 can be found in the dungeon. This includes Demagogue equipment, Hoplite items, Noble equipment and others.

Crystal Tower and Hildibrand Overview

Crystal Tower was the very first raid-like instance in Final Fantasy XIV. Coil of Bahamut was not really raid-like for me way back because it was just like a dungeon but double the number of people inside. Honestly, it was just like the Primal fights but of course,...
