Getting your FFXIV Gil in

Like all new areas and content in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, players will first need to embark on a quest before they can gain access to the Manderville Gold Saucer. The quest they need to take is It Could Happen to You which is given out by the Well-Heeled Youth located at Ul’dah – Steps of Nald (x9, y9). Note that players will first need to complete the envoy quests appropriate to their race. These quests are The Gridanian Envoy, The Ul’dahn Envoy and The Lominsan Envoy. Note that the quest given by the youth is also the start of the questline for this new area. Finally, note that characters need to be at least level 15 to take the quest.

Using FFXIV Gil to get points

Activities in the Manderville Gold Saucer sometimes require the use of Manderville Gold Saucer Points(MGP). These points are normally obtained through the mini-games in the area. However, for new arrivals, Gil can be exchanged for MGP. Players simply need to speak with the Gold Saucer Attendant in the Entrance Square (x4, y6). Before you buy FFXIV Gil however, note that only players with less than 500 MGP can have their Gil exchanged for MGP.

Achievements FFXIV Gil hunters

Along with the new activity area come new Achievements. Players looking to collect these will need to prepare as there are nearly 50 new Achievements have been added by Patch 2.51. For starters, players will need to collect MGP from Gold Saucer attractions to get the multi-part achievement What Happens in the Saucer.

Chocobo Racing achievements include Go Forth and Multiply, Pedigree Champ, Training Day, Off to the Races, Breaking the Maiden, Winning the Jockey and Winningest Jockey. Triple Triad aficionados can meanwhile get Triple-decker, Triple Team, Wheel of Fortune and others. For a full list, check the patch notes.

Crystal Tower and Hildibrand Overview

Crystal Tower was the very first raid-like instance in Final Fantasy XIV. Coil of Bahamut was not really raid-like for me way back because it was just like a dungeon but double the number of people inside. Honestly, it was just like the Primal fights but of course,...
