New raid for FFXIV Gil hunters

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn players can get Final Fantasy XIV Gil and items from the new Alexander: Gordias raid dungeon. The new raid will require characters to have be a level 60 Disciple of War or Magic. Additionally, players will need to equip their character with gear with an average item level of 170 or higher. The raid runs for 90 minutes and can handle up to eight players. Before players can enter however, they will first need to clear the Heavensward main scenario quest. Afterwards, they will need to take the Disarmed quest available from Slowfix in Idyllshire (x7, y6).

New items for FFXIV Gil hunters

Clearing the new Alexander: Gordias raid will not give players items in the conventional way. Players will instead receive tokens, specifically Tarnished Gordian tokens. These can then be traded for gear. Note that like all raids, players can also get loot only once per week.

Aside from Gordian equipment, players will also get various Gordian themed items. This includes furnishing items like a Gordian Bureau or Gordian Chair. There are also accessories available of the Gordian persuasion. Prototupe Gordian Neckbands, Wristbands, Earring and Rings have been added by the patch. Note that like the gear, they all have item level 190 and require a character of level 60.

FFXIV Gil hunters get new achievements

The new patch also adds seven new achievements players can get. Finishing the quest Enigma will unlock the Awake the Metal achievement on their account. Meanwhile, fully exploring the Fist of the Father location will give you Mapping the Realm: Alexander I. Exploring two other locations, namely Cuff of the Father and the Arm of the Father will unlock similar achievements. Clearing the Alexander: Gordias raid will also unlock the Sins of the Father I achievement.
