FFXIV Gil from Nero tol Scaeva

The second boss of the dungeon is Nero tol Scaeva. Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters will immediately notice the electric field surrounding the room. This isn’t just for show; players caught within the field will be dealt damage the longer they stay in it. As such, the party needs to take care not to linger in the field. Unfortunately, the boss has other ideas.

Keeping your FFXIV Gil hunter safe

Aside from a point blank AoE and a frontal cone attack, Nero will use Iron Uprising or Augmented Uprising. These skills will deal damage to a target and knock them back, often times into the electric field. Note that these skills aren’t the only ones to watch out for. Throughout the fight, Magitek Death Claw adds will spawn and target a random player. A bright purple line will show who the target is. Damage dealers need to DPS these adds down as they will knock their target straight into the field upon contact.

Taking on Gaius van Baelsar for FFXIV Gil

The next boss is Gaius van Baelsar and is easier to defeat than he looks. This boss has the usual frontal cleave attack as well as a point blank AoE. Gaius also casts a void zone where he stands that will deal damage over time to those in it. He will also randomly teleport to a party member to deal damage. All of these attacks do some damage, but can be easily healed back. What players need to dodge however is Terminus Est. This is when he draws a blue glowing X in the air. The X then moves in a straight line after a few seconds dealing massive damage to those in its path. Keep dodging this skill and kill Gaius so you won’t have to buy FFXIV Gil after getting his loot.
