Previously, on our blog, we were discussing how to get into and defeat the first boss of The Sunken Temple of Qard Hard. Here, in part two of our guide, we will show FFXIV Gil hunters how to go through the rest of the dungeon. We’ll also cover what items Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters can get.

Sunken Temple of Qarn (Hard)

Avoiding needles for FFXIV Gil

Sabotender Emperatriz is the second boss of the Sunken Temple of Qarn (Hard) in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. This boss has a particularly nasty skill called 100,000 Needles. If she finishes casting this skill, then the entire party will be instantly wiped. The boss can be interrupted however by dealing enough damage to her. As such, make sure to focus her down when she starts casting the skill.

To complicate matters, she will summon adds during the fight. While most of them do not have a lot of health, be wary of the Sabotender Guardia that is summoned. This add will cast Cover on the Emperatrize. What this skill does is absorb all incoming damage to the boss. This makes interrupting 100,000 Needles impossible. Due to this, make sure to burn down the Guardia once it is summoned before focusing on the boss.

Breaking the curse for FFXIV Gil

The last boss of the dungeon is Vicegerent to the Warden. The main mechanic of this fight revolves around the Curse of the Mummy debuff. When a character reaches 4 stacks of this, they will turn into a mummy for a short period. Players will not be able to control the character during this period.

Stacks of the debuff are placed on the character through various means. The first is through contact with the moving “Mummy Walls”. The boss will also cast Light of Anathema or use a flurry of blows that will apply a stack of the debuff on all it hits. The Vicegerent also has a tether attack that will continually stack the debuff on a random target until the boss is stunned or the target turns into a mummy.

FFXIV Gil and item rewards

Completing the dungeon will reward players with 50 Allagan Tomestones of Soldiery and 40 Allagan Tomestone of Poetics. Hero’s accessories can also be obtained from the bosses. These can be sold to get quick and cheap FFXIV Gil to avoid having to buy FFXIV Gil.

Crystal Tower and Hildibrand Overview

Crystal Tower was the very first raid-like instance in Final Fantasy XIV. Coil of Bahamut was not really raid-like for me way back because it was just like a dungeon but double the number of people inside. Honestly, it was just like the Primal fights but of course,...
