Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is having a special friend recruitment promotion. Final Fantasy XIV account holders can invite their friends to the game to earn rewards. Depending on the subscription these future FFXIV account holders will get, players can get better items.

Recruiting friends to hunt FFXIV Gil with you

Players can now recruit their friends to get FFXIV items when they sign up for a subscription. To do this, the recruiter simply needs to log into the Final Fantasy XIV: Mog Station and go to the Recruit a Friend page. Once there they can send a message and the recruitment code to their friend. The latter can then enter the recruitment code when they register for a Square Enix account. Finally, when your friend signs up for a subscription, you and your friend will get in-game rewards.

30-day subscription rewards for FFXIV Gil hunters

Once the recruit signs up for a 30 day subscription both the recruit and recruiter will get a reward. Both players will get a Friendship Circlet. This item gives a 20% bonus to experience points earned while under level 25. Additionally, recruiters will get an Aetheryte Pendulum. This allows them to teleport to the nearest aetheryte where a new adventurer on your friend list is.

90-day subscription rewards for your FFXIV Gil collector

Recruiters whose friends decide to sign up for a 90 day subscription will get an even bigger bonus. By big we mean Chocobo size big. They will receive a Draught Chocobo Whistle. This hand-carved whistled can be used to summon a Draught Chocobo. This special mount can seat two characters that are partied together. Very useful when you want to show your friend the sights of Eorzea, or if you need to go a dungeon they haven’t gone to yet.

Note that all items will be delivered through the moogle delivery service. Recruiting more friends will also NOT grant extra items as they can only be redeemed once.
