Limsa Lominsa Main Scenario Quests

The City-State of Limsa Lominsa: An Overview for FFXIV Gil Hunters

Limsa Lominsa is a location in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn that is broken up into the Lower Decks and the Upper Decks. It is the starting point for Arcanists and Marauders that will eventually be gained access to by other classes as they progress through the main storyline.

The marine city-state of Limsa Lominsa lies on the southern coast of the island of Vylbrand, under the shadow of ancient cliffs worn the Rhotano Sea. It is said to be blessed by the goddess of navigation, Llymlaen. The city is spread out over countless tiny islands, each connected by bridges of iron and wood, which is why it is also known as the ‘Navigator’s Veil.’ Limsa Lominsa is a traditional thalassocracy, with power lying in the hands of the ruling party and its leader, the Admiral. Its economy mainly thrives on shipbuilding, fishing, and blacksmithing, but the majority of wealth comes from the lucrative shipping industry. To maintain the safety of its maritime routes, the city has a formidable navy known as the Knights of the Barracuda.

The main scenario of Final Fantasy XIV covers almost every part of the game world. It introduces to the players the background of Eorza and the lore that gives life to it and its people. There are about 180+ quests from start to finish. This guide will walk beginners through the main scenario quests in Limsa Lominsa. Completing the main scenario will reward FFXIV Gil Hunters a Magitek Armor mount and will be granted access to Primal (Hard) battles, A Relic Reborn, which is a lengthy Lvl. 50 quest that unlocks your Job’s ultimate weapon, and much more.
