Men of the Blue Tattoos Quest for FFXIV Gil Hunters

Unable to find anyone who can decipher the mysterious lettering from the missive found among the possessions of Ahtzapfyn during Victory in Peril, Ghimthota wishes to enlist the help of Baderon and his irregular group of contacts. Travel to the Drowning Wench and deliver the missive to the proprietor of the Drowning Wench, Baderon. You will be rewarded generously with 6,440 XP, and one of the four optional items: Allagan Bronze Piece, Padded Hempen Trousers, Cotton Sarouel, and Cotton Tights.

Feint and Strike Quest for FFXIV Gil Hunters

Before heading for this task, you might want to gear up with cheap FFXIV Gil, as this will be a more challenging quest compared to Men of the Blue Tattoos. Anyway, Baderon has a mission for you—he wants you to deliver Baderon’s Jottings to Commodore Reyner at the Coral Tower. Upon handing the letter, Reyner will receive word that the South Tidegate is under attack by Sahagin forces. Go to the settlement of Swiftperch and talk to the Yellowjacket, Ryssfloh, to enter the instance. There will be two battles during the quest. Take note that both Ryssfloh and Glazrael must survive the fight, but you might have trouble with healing Glazrael from time to time because she is rather weak. Make sure you have stacked up on a few recovery items when you buy FFXIV Gil. Don’t worry about Ryssfloh, since he is quite tanky. During the first battle, it is recommended that you ignore Baenryss of the Deep. Ryssfloh will hold his aggro, so follow Glazrael and attack whatever she attacks. As the groups of lesser mobs thin out, she will attack Baenryss. Now, focus all your attacks on Baenryss to maximize your party’s damage output. If she starts focusing on another group of Drowned Brawlers and the Blanga, do the same thing as before, and continue until Baenryss is defeated for a cutscene. Afterwards, there will be another fight, this time against the Masked Mage. He will summon a Lesser Gargoyle, but unlike Baenryss, it won’t hit very hard. Take it down quickly. Y’shtola will then join the fight against the Masked Mage. Return to the Coral Tower and report to Reyner to complete the quest, and claim your reward of 6,440 XP and the Lominsan Ring.

High Society Quest for FFXIV Gil Hunters

Reyner will suggest that you speak with Baderon and acquire a suitable attire for the banquet. Travel back to the Drowning Wench and talk to Baderon. Afterwards, visit J’nasshym in The Octant; you can find her on the lower docks, and she will hand you the Raxa-lined Box. Give the quest item to Baderon and complete the quest for your reward of 6,440 XP, 230 Final Fantasy XIV Gil, and Dress Shoes.

The FFXIV Class / Job 3.0 System Pt. 2

This is just a continuation of the jobs guide from the last write-up. It would best if you read this one as well as it is part of the general knowledge in Final Fantasy XIV. Having a new FFXIV Account, this would be really helpful for new players and maybe for not so...

The FFXIV Class / Job 3.0 System

One thing I love FFXIV is that you can get all classes with one character. It is hard enough to think of a name for every character when you create if you want another character of another job, what more leveling and gearing them right? FFXIV let’s you get the chance...

Crystal Tower and Hildibrand Overview

Crystal Tower was the very first raid-like instance in Final Fantasy XIV. Coil of Bahamut was not really raid-like for me way back because it was just like a dungeon but double the number of people inside. Honestly, it was just like the Primal fights but of course,...
