Continuation of the Revenge of the Horde Update!

The potency of the Adrenaline Rush action, Raw Destruction, has been decreased.

The following adjustments and additions have been made to the Feast:

Season Two of the Feast will begin.

Season Two of the Feast will start with patch 3.35, and is scheduled to end with the maintenance for patch 3.45. When the season has ended, the top combatants for solo rankings and party rankings will receive special rewards such as furnishings and gear. Players will also receive special accessories based on their tier: bronze, silver, gold, platinum, or diamond.
* The number of rewards distributed may differ between data centers in the event players or parties have the same ranking.
* Rankings will be available for viewing the day following the start of Season Two.

Matching algorithms have been adjusted to ensure players are matched with others of the same or an adjacent tier.

The Feast will now prioritize matching those who fall anywhere between No Rank and Silver tier with other players that are in these three tiers.

The Feast will now prioritize matching those who fall anywhere between Gold and Diamond tier with other players that are in these three tiers.

The longer you wait, the higher your chances are of being matched to a player in an adjacent tier.

The degree to which PvP ratings may decrease at the conclusion of a rated match has been adjusted.

[3.0] The following adjustments and additions have been made to the Fields of Glory (Shatter):

The victory requirement when matched with 72 players (three teams of 24) has been reduced from 1800 points to 1600 points.

To balance the DPS for all jobs, the magic resistance for activated icebound tomeliths has been increased.

Battlefield maps have been adjusted to make elevation more visible.

FFXIV, Final Fantasy XIV, Revenge of the Horde, Update

The drop rates for White Lanner Whistle, Rose Lanner Whistle, and Round Lanner Whistle have been increased.

These items may also be purchased from Bertana in Idyllshire (X:5.9 Y:5.2).

Round Lanner Whistle Heavens’ Ward Helm Fragment x99

Deep Dungeon – Palace of the Dead has been added.

The Palace of the Dead is an ever-changing dungeon whose architecture is never quite the same each time players enter to explore its depths. All players will begin at level one, and only by fighting the enemies within will they be able to gain the strength and experience needed to reach the final floor. For those stout-hearted adventurers who have decided to take the plunge: be sure to ready your aetherpool armor and arms because in this spectral labyrinth, it may be your only hope of making it out in one piece.

Players who choose to leave and return later can continue playing from where they last saved. We challenge all who enter to make it to the last floor!

There’s more to come in the Revenge of the Horde update! Watch out for the last part of the update in the next article!
