Two weeks ago, the Revenge of the Horde finally went live but are you aware of the updates? If not and happen to bump into this article, you are in definite luck! I will share to you guys part by part the details on what was included in activation of Revenge of the Horde. New patch means need more FF14 gil. Let’s go!

Revenge of the Horde: Playable Content

Here are the changes and additions on the playable content from the official FFXIV website:

Quests

New side story quests have been added.

Palace of the Dead

Quest Required Level and Location
The House That Death Built Disciple of War or Magic level 17
New Gridania (X:12.0 Y:13.1)
NPC: Nojiro Marujiro
Players must first complete the main scenario quest “Into a Copper Hell.”
The Nightmare’s End Disciple of War or Magic level 50
South Shroud (X:25.0 Y:20.6)
NPC: Balan
Players must first complete the quest “Corpse Groom,” and have cleared floor 50 of the Palace of the Dead.

 

The NPC Mender of Sticks has been added to Bahrr Lehs in the Churning Mists (X:15.8 Y:28.5).

* Players must first complete the beast tribe quest “Tricks and Stones.”

New poses have been added to the Doze (/doze) emote. Players can cycle through these new poses by dozing off near or on a bed and then using the /changepose subcommand.

* In light of the recent earthquake in Kumamoto, Japan, the counter for estate auto-demolition has been suspended until the release of patch 3.4. (Update: 7/19/2016 05:00 a.m. (PST)).

FFXIV’s Revenge of the Horde update balances a lot of the classes and their skills, especially in PvP for a more competitive environment!

Revenge of the Horde Battle System Update

[2.0][3.0] The following adjustments have been made to PvP actions:

Thrill of War Duration has been reduced from 20 seconds to 15 seconds.
≪Enhanced Thrill of War II≫
Duration has been reduced from 25 seconds to 20 seconds.
HP increase has been reduced from 15% to 10%.
≪Enhanced Thrill of War III≫
HP increase has been reduced from 25% to 20%.
HP restoration has been reduced from 15% to 10%.
≪Enhanced Thrill of War III≫
HP restoration has been reduced from 25% to 20%.

Lancer
Rogue
Monk
Dragoon
Ninja
Weapon Throw Can now only be used by gladiator, marauder, paladin, warrior, and dark knight.

Impulse Rush This weaponskill will no longer have its direction requirements nullified.
Critical hit rate increase has been reduced from 20% to 10%.
≪Enhanced Impulse Rush III≫
Critical hit rate increase has been reduced from 30% to 20%.

Enliven This weaponskill will no longer restore TP, and instead will remove directional requirements from all other weaponskills.
Can now only be used by pugilist, lancer, rogue, monk, dragoon, and ninja.
Recast time has been reduced from 240 seconds to 150 seconds.
Now has a duration of 10 seconds.
≪Enhanced Enliven≫
Recast time has been reduced from 180 seconds to 120 seconds.
≪Enhanced Enliven II≫
Duration increased to 15 seconds.
