Before Final Fantasy XIV account holders can play Mini Cactpot, they will have to unlock it through – you guessed it – a quest. The quest players will need to complete is called Scratch it Rich. It can be taken by Disciples of War or Magic at level 15 or higher. Players can find the quest and take it from Mini Cactpot Broker. This NPC can be found at the Gold Saucer at coordinates x5, y6. Note that players need to have completed the It Could Happen to You quest to gain access to the Manderville Gold Saucer itself.
Picking places and lines on your FFXIV Account
A Mini Cactpot ticket costs 100 Manderville Gold Saucer Points. Upon receiving the ticket, players will notice a 3×3 grid of yellow circles. To start playing, players will need to pick three circles to uncover. This will show the numbers underneath them. Next, the players will need to pick a line, as indicated by the arrows. Finally, press the confirm button. After this, all the circles on the grid will reveal their numbers and the sum of the line picked will be computed.
Getting MGP for your FFXIV Account
The amount of Manderville Gold Saucer Points you can earn depends on the sum of the line picked. This can be determined by checking the chart on the right of the ticket.
