Building up your gauge, Limit Break

The Limit Break ability can only be used when in a party of four or more players. To fill up the gauge, members of the party need to deal damage, heal effectively, and do various beneficial actions. Note that there are no items that can be bought with FFXIV Gil that will fill up the gauge. Depending on the number of players in the party, there may be as many as three Limit Break gauges.

Different Limit Breaks for different FFXIV Gil gathering situation

While each class has its own Limit Break, they all fall into one of four types. Tank classes on a FFXIV account will have a LB that provides defense for the entire party. Melee damage dealing classes will unleash a powerful attack against a single enemy, while mage classes use a powerful AoE attack. The Limit Break for healing classes will restore a good chunk of the party’s HP cutting down FFXIV Gil costs for restorative items.
