Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn players can now use Free Company Actions without using Company Credits. This is all thanks to the new Aetherial Wheel system added by the Before the Fall update. We looked into how to use this system to help Final Fantasy XIV account users.

New Aetherial Wheel for FFXIV Gil hunters

The Patch 2.5 adds new Aetherial Wheels for FFXIV Gil hunters to use on their estate grounds. The new system requires to FFXIV items: an Aetherial Wheel Stand and an Aetherial Wheel. The former can be purchased with Final Fantasy XIV Gil from housing merchants in the residential districts. The wheel itself however needs to be crafted by an Alchemist. Players who cannot craft one of their own however, can buy it from those who can.

Using the wheel for your FFXIV Gil hunter

To use the wheel, a member of the Free Company must first place an Aetherial Wheel Stand in the FC’s estate. Next, an Aetherial Wheel must be placed in the stand. Note that there are several kinds, each producing a different Free Company Action. Once placed, let the stand accumulate aether over time. After a fixed amount of time, the Primed Aetherial Wheel can be removed from the stand. With the primed wheel in the inventory, access the stand once more and choose to convert the primed wheel into an action. Completing the last step will make the action available to the Free Company.

Company actions and your FFXIV Gil hunter

FFXIV account holders who are in a Free Company not only enjoy playing the game with others, but also get several perks. One of these is access to Free Company Actions. These are essentially buffs that last for 24 hours. These are bought and activated using Company Credits. The actions include effects that increase experience points gained, attribute increases and more.
