One of the Boss Battle FATEs in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is Behemoth FATE. It is a challenging FATE and is actually two FATEs rolled into one encounter. Any FFXIV account holder who plans to attempt this FATE should know what’s ahead. Hopefully this guide will help Final Fantasy XIV account holders prepare for this gargantuan challenge.
Facing the Behemoth for FFXIV Gil
The Behemoth encounter is actually two FATEs rolled into one. The first is Behold Now Behemoth and the second is He Taketh It with His Eyes. FFXIV Gil hunters can think of them as phases. Note that both FATEs are designed for Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters at level 50. If you’re up to the challenge, then head over to Coerthas Central Highlands and wait. This FATE appears once every few days.
Taking down the boss for FFXIV Gil
The battle itself is relatively simple if compared to other bosses from Trials and Dungeons. What makes this FATE particularly trying is how easily it is to get wiped due to lack of coordination. After all, you’ll be taking on this giant along with other parties.
When it comes to skills, Behemoth has several cleave attacks and frontal cone attacks that can damage even properly geared tanks. Trounce in particular can deal a lot of damage to a tank, and can easily kill other classes in one shot. Behemoth also has a Tornado attack that he will cast on random player, often those along his sides. Lastly, this boss will cast a Meteor upon death which can easily wipe everyone in the FATE.
FFXIV Gil and item rewards
Defeating Behemoth and getting a Silver Medal will get your character a Behemoth Horn. Gold Medal completion will reward 5 Behemoth Horns however. The horns can be traded to Aelina in Mor Dhona for FFXIV items and gear.
