Heavensward for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is releasing soon, and we are here to give FFXIV Gil hunters a preview of the new content. The new expansion will be introducing Flying Mounts and new locations. We will look over each one in detail in today’s guide.
Fly around while hunting FFXIV Gil
Time to save up your cheap FFXIV Gil or buy FFXIV Gil because Flying Mounts are coming in Heavensward. While players will first need to attune their Flying Mount first, they will be able to fly in the new Heavensward zones on their Flying Mounts. The latter will move in the air at 200% of their ground speed. Note that they can still be used on the ground but will be only as fast as older mounts.
As of writing seven different Flying Mounts are planned for the expansion. However, only three have been shown. The first of which is the Black Chocobo. Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters can also get a Flying Griffin Mount if they get any of the Collector’s Edition of the expansion. A Single Rider Airship has also been announced, but details on how to get it is still a secret.
New locations to find FFXIV Gil in
Heavensward brings three new locations for players to explore on foot or with their Flying Mounts. First of which is Ishgard. The seat of the Holy See, this one isolated theocracy has opened its gates seeking help. Their enemy? Dragons. Players will brave bitter cold and hellish heat in this area.
Another new location is Dravania. A large mountainous region west of Abalthia’s Spine, these are the lands of the dragons. South of the area are hinterlands and large fields where the ruins of Sharlayan remain. This seat of knowledge is now fading into obscurity as nature reclaims the land.
Flying islands to get FFXIV Gil from
Lastly there is Abalathia. This curious region is constantly shrouded in mists and clouds. It is also home to flying islands filled with undiscovered flora and fauna. This location will definitely need the use of Flying Mounts to full explore and adventure in.
