Warding enemies of FFXIV Gil hunters

Staring August 14 and lasting until September 8, FFXIV account holders can celebrate the Moonfire Faire with other players. This in-game festival has originally celebrated to help ward off an invasion of bombards. The fiery menace was thwarted but the festival has carried on as a break from Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunting. This year, Haermaga of the Adventurer’s Guild has brought back the festival to give the denizens of Eorzea something to celebrate.

Getting your FFXIV Gil Collector to participate

Participation in the festivities and the accompanying quest is easy. Characters simply need to talk with a Moonfire Faire Chaperone. These NPCs are located in the three city-states. For characters based in Limsa Lominsa, head to the Upper Decks at coordinates (11, 13) to find your Faire Chaperon. Meanwhile, the Old Gridania Faire Chaperone can be found at coordinates (10, 9). Finally, players near Ul’dah can find their Moonfire Fair Chaperone on the Steps of Nald at the point (10, 9).

Item rewards for FFXIV Gil hunters

Like all events the Moonfire Faire has its own set of rewards for players who join the festivities. Special event gear will be given out to both male and female characters. Male Adventurers will get Lord’s Yukata and Female Adventurers will receive Lady’s Yukata. The gear comes in three colors. The Bomb Dance emote command will also be given to players. Finally, players will be able to buy different fireworks to set off. Pinwheels, Lominsan Sparklers and Bombard Blooms can be bought and lit to celebrate the occasion.

This is it, Patch 3.3, Revenge of the Horde. Yes, this is an article for Final Fantasy XIV, not World of Warcraft. And here in Eorzea, instead of facing against orcs, you’ll be facing against dragons, as well as a wide plethora of other monsters and foes. Hold on to...
