Ixal beast tribe and FFXIV Gil

The new patch  adds new quest for the Ixal beast tribe. The new quests however are different from the usual quests as Final Fantasy XIV account holders will need to get their character to craft FFXIV items. Additionally, players will now be able to buy items from the tribe through all new vendors. These vendors however will not trade for Gil and instead use Ixali Oaknots which is a new form of currency.

Helping the tribe for FFXIV Gil

The Ixal beast tribe has its own main scenario quest line which starts with NPC Scarlet at New Gridania. The A Bad Bladder quest requires characters to have completed the In Pursuit of the Past quest. This will then lead into the rest of the quests for the beast tribe.

Players will also have access to various side quests. These are however locked until they finish the Reaching for Cloud Nine main quest. These sidequests mainly revolve around crafting items and helping the Ehcatl Nine to build an airship.

Deliveries and FFXIV Gil

Part of the sidequests added for the Ixal beast tribe are Delivery Quests. In these, players are asked to deliver various requested items. Characters will then need to provide the needed items which will give them quota points. To complete the quest, a character needs to meet the required quota. Note that the quota required increases along with the character’s reputation with the tribe. Delivery quests can be taken only once a day.
