Patch 2.3 for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be introducing the new Desynthesis system. This new system will allow Final Fantasy 14 account holders to breakdown FFXIV items into materials. These can then be sold for FFXIV Gil or used later. The patch also adds new Moogle quests for FFXIV account holders.
Breaking down items for FFXIV Gil
The new Desynthesis system will allow players to take their items, equipment and even fish and break them down into materials. The latter can then be used later for crafting or sold for FFXIV Gil. Players will have a desynthesis skill level tied to each crafting class. This level will fluctuate as the player breaks down items successfully. Note that items can cause the level to rise in one skill, while it may lower in another.
Helping Moogles for FFXIV Gil
Fuzzy, button-nosed Moogles will be needing players’ help in the new patch. New Delivery Moogle Quests will be added for Disciples of War/Magic at level 50. Players can earn FFXIV Gil and items from the quest Of Errant Epistles.
The Syrcus Tower is a new dungeon that will be introduced in Patch 2.3 of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. This new challenge will reward brave FFXIV account holders new FFXIV items and FFXIV Gil.
Exploring the Crystal Tower for FFXIV Gil and items
The new Syrcus Tower is the central tower in the Crystal Tower group. Final Fantasy 14 account holders who successfully run through this dungeon will receive a reward item aside FFXIV Gil they loot. Note however that players can only receive this special reward once a week.
Accessing the tower for FFXIV Gil and items
Access to the tower requires completion of the For Prosperity quest. Additionally, only characters with a level 50 Disciple of War/Magic can hunt FFXIV Gil in the tower. A maximum of 24 players can enter the tower divided into three 8-player groups. Finally, players have 120 minutes to finish.
