Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s first expansion Heavensward is just a few hours away, if you’re an old cheap FFXIV Gil hunter, you may want to get back to the game now. Not only for all the new content from the expansion, but for the cool rewards for returning players. Current players also get rewards for recruiting their friends. Welcome back FFXIV Gil hunter
From June 23 to July 23, old Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters will get rewards if they return to the game. To be considered as a returning player they must have subscribed to the game before March 31, 2015. Additionally, they must have no game log in between April 1, 2015 and June 7, 2015.
Eligible returning players will receive 10 Silver Chocobo Feathers through the Moogle Delivery Service. These feathers can then be exchanged for equipment with item level 120. Players will need to visit the Calamity Salvager NPC for this. Note that the NPC can be found in each city-state.
Recruit FFXIV Gil hunting friends
There are some things you can’t get even if you buy FFXIV Gil. One of these is friendship. The latter however can help you get nifty items in the game. New in-game rewards have been added for players who recruit their friends into the game. Recruiters will now receive 5 Gold Chocobo Feathers whenever they successfully recruit a friend. Depending on the subscription length their friend gets, they will also get items and more feathers.
The Gold Chocobo Feathers can be exchanged for in-game items. This includes various rare dyes, an Amber Draught Chocobo Whistle and more. For a full list of rewards, check the announcement here.
Rewards for FFXIV Gil hunter recruits
Friends who were recruited into the game also get bonuses for joining the game. Upon getting a 30-day subscription, the recruited friend will receive a Friendship Circlet and Fist Bump Emote. They will also be given 99 Aetheryte Tickets to help them travel Eorzea safer and easier. Lastly, they will get 10 Silver Chocobo Feathers. These can then be exchange for armor and weapons that will make their low-level adventuring much easier.
