The Rising

Celebrating with your FFXIV Gil collector

At the height of the Moonfire Faire and in the midst of the first year anniversary of the game is The Rising. This event is a celebration of life and a way to remember the lives lost to the Calamity. Throughout the event, the night skies of Eorzea will be filled with flowers of flame from fireworks courtesy of the Adventurers’ Guild. The talk of the town is that the celebrations and fireworks inspired someone to create a song of remembrance.

Completing the quest for your FFXIV Gil hunter

The Rising anniversary event will run from Wednesday, August 27 at 1:00 AM until Monday, September 8 at 7:59 AM PDT. During this time players can start the questline by heading to Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks. Final Fantasy XIV Gil hunters need to talk with NPC Bran at coordinates x11, y12 to start the quest. Unlike normal quests, this quest does not have a level requirement and is open to all classes.

Rewards for your FFXIV Gil hunter

Completing the event quest will reward players with the Huzzah emote. Players can also use FFXIV Gil to buy FFXIV items from the Rising Vendor at The Aftcastle located in Limsa Lominsa Uppder Decks (x11, y14). Available fireworks for the celebration include Realm Reborn Red and Magicked Prism (Meteor Survivor.) Both fireworks sell for just 19 Gil. Wind-up Minfilia and Wind-up Thancred can also be bought from the Rising Vendor. Each Minion sells for 2,400 Gil.

This is it, Patch 3.3, Revenge of the Horde. Yes, this is an article for Final Fantasy XIV, not World of Warcraft. And here in Eorzea, instead of facing against orcs, you’ll be facing against dragons, as well as a wide plethora of other monsters and foes. Hold on to...
