Summoning magic is the forte of the Arcanist class in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Using symbols to focus aether an Arcanists on a FFXIV account can call forth carbuncle to help them gather FFXIV Gil.

Taking your time

For the most part Final Fantasy 14 account holders can play Arcanists as DPS. This is due to their strong damage-over-time and debuffing skills. However, at higher levels, players need to decide if they’re going to go through with DPS as a Summoner, or heal as a Scholar. This of course means spending FFXIV Gil on new FFXIV items appropriate for the job.

Turning your FFXIV Gil hunter into an Arcanist

The Arcanist class can be unlocked by any character done with the level 10 class quest. They simply need to simply spend some FFXIV Gil fare to get to Limsa Lominsa. Once there, they need to talk to the Arcanist guild receptionist. For players making a new character, they will need to decide if their Arcanist will be a Summoner or a Scholar. Summoners should pick Elezen Duskwight for their high Intelligence. Arcanist on a Final Fantasy XIV account that will later become Scholars should go with Mi’Qote Keeper of the Moon for a good Mind stat. Lalafell Dunefolk are also good for those who don’t want to decide yet.
