Welcome back to our guide to the last turn of the Final Coil of Bahamut. Today we will show new and old FFXIV account holders how to deal with the third phase of this raid. Prepare to dodge a lot of AoE attacks and handle adds this time in the Final Coil of Bahamut Turn 4.

Dodging divebombs on your FFXIV Account

The third phase of the raid starts once Bahamut reaches 52% health. At this point he will use Gigaflare again before flying away. Periodically during this phase, he will use a Divebomb attack along with a Twin. Final Fantasy XIV account holders need to watch for the markers that will appear on the targets of this skill. Once you know who is being targeted, you can predict the path the attack is going to take and dodge accordingly. One easy way to do this is stack in the center of the area once Divebomb is being set up. When the second marker from the Twin appears, you can then step out of the line the attacks are going to take.

Adds  FFXIV Account holders need to handle

Final Fantasy 14 account holders will also need to handle multiple adds during this phase. The most troublesome of which are the Blood and Pain of Meracydia. The Blood has a buff that makes it immune to either magic or physical damage. Meanwhile the Paid add deals a lot of damage. Gusts will also be summoned during this phase using AoE skills. Lastly, Sins will appear during the phase. These have to be taken down quickly as they deal damage depending on their remaining health. Burn them down quick to make them deal less damage.

Twin and Teraflare on your FFXIV Account

Eventually, the Twin of Bahamut will enter the fight as a Storm add. This add will then use skills like Plummet and Death Sentence. Make sure to deal with these accordingly and kill this add quickly. This is because it will drop a Neurolink upon death that is critical to the raid’s survival. Note that all the other adds will still be summoned while you fight Twin.

Once all the adds have been killed, Bahamut will use Teraflare. This will instantly wipe the raid unless you are standing in the Neurolink. Make sure to also use a tank’s third limit break to reduce the damage from the skill.
